The Clarity Multi-Gas Module expands the capabilities of the Node-S, enabling real-time measurement of CO, O₃, NO₂, NO, and NOx — five key pollutants that impact air quality and public health. Whether monitoring urban pollution, industrial emissions, or transportation corridors, this compact, all-in-one sensor provides high-quality data without the complexity of multiple instruments.

Designed for effortless deployment, the Multi-Gas Module features a weatherproof, UV-resistant enclosure and modular mounting for quick installation on both vertical and horizontal poles. With Clarity’s plug-and-play Add-On Module design, the Multi-Gas Module leverages the solar-powered operation and built-in cellular connectivity of the Node-S — even when paired with the Wind Module.

Multi-Gas Module use cases

CO and wildfires

  • CO is a by-product of combustion, emitted by both wildfires and urban sources
  • Wildfires produce significantly more PM2.5 per unit of CO than urban sources
  • The PM2.5-to-CO ratio helps distinguish wildfire smoke from urban pollution.

NOₓ and traffic

  • High NO and NO₂ levels identify traffic-related pollution hotspots
  • A higher NO-to-NO₂ ratio indicates fresh emissions near the source, while a lower ratio suggests chemical transformation as the air moves further away.

O₃ non-attainment and smog formation

  • Quantify diurnal pattern of NOx (morning, evening peaks) and O3 (afternoon peak)
  • Elevated NOₓ and O₃ together signal strong photochemical activity and smog formation.

The Model T700U is a microprocessor based calibrator for precision, trace-level gas analyzers.  Using highly accurate mass flow controllers combined with compressed sources of standard gases, calibration standards are provided for multipoint span and zero checks using up to 4 gas sources.

In addition to the features of the Model T700, the Model T700U is designed for the demanding requirements of trace-level measurements.  The ability to calibrate and verify linearity for NO2 at levels below 50 ppb is difficult with standard calibrators.  To overcome this limitation, the Model T700U ozone generator operates in two modes; a high range with similar performance to the Model T700 ozone generator, and a low range, or “fractional” mode, for producing accurate ozone levels down to 3 ppb.  To ensure the highest accuracy of NO2 output, the calibrator measures the ozone concentration prior to performing a GPT, and the range is selected automatically by the Model T700U based on ozone concentration and flow specified by the user.

All T Series instruments offer an advanced color display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/O, and built-in data acquisition capability.  All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports either locally or by remote connection.

The Model T700U comes with NumaView™ Software. NumaView™ Remote PC Software allows for a remote connection with virtual interface and data downloading capability to analyzers operating NumaView™ Software.

Features

  • Stable and accurate ozone output to 3 ppb
  • Stable and accurate Gas Phase Titration (GPT) to 3 ppb NO2
  • Built-in photometer, ozone generator, and GPT chamber
  • Large, vivid, and durable color graphics display with touch screen interface
  • Ethernet, RS-232, and (optional) USB com ports
  • Front panel USB connections for peripheral devices and firmware upgrades
  • 12 independent timers for sequences
  • Nested sequences (up to 5 levels)
  • Software linearization of mass flow controllers (MFC)
  • 4 calibration ports (configurable for single or multi-blend gases)
  • 3rd MFC for wide dynamic range (optional)
  • Glass gas phase titration chamber (GPT)
  • Inlets for external ozone reference sources
  • Two-year warranty.

The T701H adds Modbus TCP/IP connectivity to the proven reliability and performance of our high purity zero air system. This allows remote monitoring of key instrument functions including dewpoint status, scrubber temperature, box temperature and output pressure. Additionally, this digital access provides the ability to remotely disable the internal pump, allowing longer service intervals and less power consumption. The user can also remotely start instrument warm-up prior to arrival at the site.

The T701H is a fully self-contained source of high purity zero air for dilution calibrators. It is ideal for use with highly sensitive analyzers in ambient background and trace level applications. The T701H includes a dewpoint sensor, an oil and diaphragm-free pump, scrubbers to remove SO2, NO, NO2, O3, H2S and NH3, plus high performance scrubbers to remove CO and Hydrocarbons.

The regenerative, heatless dryer removes water and produces output with a dew point less than -40ºC (up to 30 SLPM flow rate). The system’s pressure, temperature, and dewpoint values are all continuously monitored, which allows a microcontroller to adjust the pump cycling frequency, valve timing, and heater power for optimal performance

Features

MIRA Ultra N2O/CO, based on Aeris’ revolutionary, miniature laser-based sensor engine, achieves sub-ppb sensitivity and accuracy in seconds. It is the world’s first portable, high accuracy nitrous oxide and carbon monoxide gas analyzer. The Ultra N2O/CO provides extended, low drift performance via its precision temperature and pressure stabilised optical core.

Portable Ultra systems can be uniquely employed for a wide range of fixed, handheld, and mobile applications.

Aeris MIRA Series analyzers operate in the middle infrared (MIR) region, achieving unparalleled specificity and sensitivity in a compact, low power consumption platform. The ability to simultaneously monitor N2O and CO in real-time with a portable analyzer enables a wide range of lab as well as field applications that were previously impractical due to traditional size, weight, power, and cost constraints. Ultra Series analyzers offer performance levels traditionally associated with much larger, more expensive gas analyzers, representing a paradigm shift in high accuracy laser-based gas analysis systems.

Key Features:

  • Temp stabilisation, sub-ppb precision and accuracy
  • Autonomous, built-in calibration or zero cycles
  • 1 or 2Hz operation
  • GPS ready for creating N2O/CO “maps”
  • Built-in WiFi, RS-232, and optional analog out
  • Lowest, 20W (average) power consumption
  • Maintenance-free sensor, user-serviceable filters
  • 2-port, differential sampling, built-in pump.

Real-Time Ambient and Source Monitoring

CO is an USEPA Priority Pollutant as well as proxy for thermo-genic CO2, while nitrous oxide is the #3 GHG that is produced in combustion processes, livestock operations, and other activities such as soil fertilisation. The MIRA Ultra N2O/CO provides a powerful new tool for lab or field studies of these important species, including regional pollution monitoring (CO) and natural gas leak tracer or soil nitrification studies (N2O).
As an absorption-based method, MIRA Ultra systems achieve high sensitivity and linearity over an extremely wide concentration range. To calibrate or re-zero, Ultra systems come equipped with two programmable sample ports and associated software that enable autonomous calibration (or rezeroing) as well as differential measurements such as in soil chamber studies. For CO, a scrubber can be installed in the analyser to provide high purity zero gas, in most cases eliminating the need for calibration gases or zero gas generators. As the core is heated to 40°C, Ultra systems are ideal for use in humid environments where condensation is of concern.
