The Model 4030 uses a field proven FID detector in a heated chamber. The chamber is heated to a high temperature to meet US EPA requirements for VOC emissions monitoring.<\/p>\n

Series 4000 Overview<\/h3>\n

All 4000 series units employ the same basic architecture and electronics; however, each analyzer has additional features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\u200b4020 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer<\/td>\nUses FID to measure total hydrocarbons in ppm in a sample gas stream<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u200b4030 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer<\/strong><\/td>\nBasic 40\u200b\u200b20 with sample system at a higher temperature for heated applications
\nAvoids condensation of the sample<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4040 Methane \/ Non-Methane<\/td>\nBasic 4020, plus temperature-controlled sampling system with GC column to give accurate readings of both methane and non-methane hydrocarbons in a gas stream<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4060 Benzene Analyzer<\/td>\nSame as 4040, but used to measure ppb levels of benzene instead of methane\/non-methane<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
